Celebration Vineyard, Coombsville, Napa Valley:
This 10 acre ranch sits at the base of Mt. George. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon Clone 377 on 110 rootstock.
Hidden Oaks Vineyard, Napa Valley:
Clifton Burmester, Scott Carston, and Manny Gomes, compadrés, own and farm the 80-acre Hidden Oaks Vineyard—Manny is the designated vineyard manager and farmer of this Wooden Valley growing site. (The ranch includes a total of 200 acres; 80 acres are planted to vines.) Mark began studying and working with the Hidden Oaks Vineyard in 2001, and began making wines with Hidden Oaks grapes for the Jessup Cellars wines in 2004. The vineyard produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Cabernet Franc, and is an essential source of Napa Valley fruit for the J Gregory wines.
Kasten Vineyard, Oak Knoll District, Napa Valley:
Architect John Kasten of Napa's Kasten Designs owns this small 2 acre vineyard located in the heart of the Oak Knoll District on Big Ranch Road. Mark has consulted for John on several small home winemaking projects and in 2010 John Kasten hired Mark as his consulting winemaker for Kasten Family Vineyards. In 2011 J Gregory Cellars started including the Kasten fruit into the J Gregory Extol blend. The Kasten Family Vineyard is now planted to only Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
Madonna Vineyard, Carneros, Napa Valley:
Buck Bartolucci and Mark have been working together in the wine industry for decades... Let's get everything straight.... we do not ever tell Buck how to farm, when to harvest or what to do. We show up on Harvest day and take a few tons of his beautiful Carneros Chardonnay fruit. This fruit is 100% Certified Organically farmed. Thank you Buck!
Grupp Family Vineyard .... S.L.A.P.
The Grupp Family has a 60 acre parcel with 8 planted acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and just a small patch of Petit Verdot. This beautiful vineyard sits 800 feet of elevation just off of Soda Canyon Road. J Gregory has been making the S.L.A.P. Cabernet Sauvignon wine from this mountain vineyard since 2014.
